Air Balancing

A balanced system creates a natural pressure in your home when the heater or air conditioner is running. A system becomes unbalanced when the supply air into a room does not equal the amount of return air leaving the room. When the amount of supply air is more than the return this creates a positive pressure in the room. A positive pressure in a room pushes your conditioned air out through small crevices in the wall such as light switches, receptacles, window and door seals, and cracks. This leakage caused by the positive pressure is conditioning the outdoors wasting your money.

Zoning

Zoning has become extremely popular because it offers higher levels of comfort for your home with the added benefit of energy savings.

Zoning can drastically lower your heating and cooling cost by dividing your home into separate areas based on your family's schedule. The added expense of heating or cooling your entire home just to make one room comfortable is minimized. Rooms that are rarely used during specific times of the day can have the heating or cooling temperature setback.
